On June 12th, 2026, the men of the Newark Department of Health came together for a Men’s Health Luncheon, an event dedicated to promoting wellness, education, and community connection.
Attendees participated in meaningful conversations about both physical and mental health, learned about valuable health resources available within the community, and explored ways to take a more active role in managing their overall well-being. The luncheon also provided an opportunity for participants to connect with one another, share experiences, and encourage healthy lifestyle choices.
Events like these serve as an important reminder of the value of creating supportive spaces where men feel empowered to openly discuss their health, seek preventive care, and access the resources they need to thrive. Through education, collaboration, and community engagement, the Newark Department of Health continues to foster healthier communities and promote health equity for all.
